Holy Cow!

Dude. I totally need this. Right? Yes. I thought so.

Well, there's nothing much here to report.
No knitting has happen since... um.. September.

Aside from that....

Yeah. It's boring here really. You don't want to hear about how I cleaned the ouse this weekend. Or ate my weight in turkey and stuffing.

So. Yeah. Maybe December will be a better month.

I guess since it's like all offical and stiff I can post it.

I'm pregnant. 12 weeks on Tuesday. Due May 29th.

Had the first doctor appointment today, we got to hear the heartbeat. Too freaking weird, and super cool, and scary, all at once. :)

Halloween?

Tommorrow? When did that happen.

Can't type with dogs sleeping on the laptop.....

I so need to:
A) take a nap
B) hire a maid
C) hire a maid so I can take a nap.

Nothing happening here. Very little knitting. I keep trying to knit, and then I need to sleep. Lots of sleep. Had been feeling better up until Sunday, then I felt like ass again and laid on the couch all day, watching bad horror movies. Today, I feel a bit better, but still ass like. Maybe a little better. Like just the butt crack, not the whole ass.

So I really want to knit this pattern(link to ravelry. Sorry) Anyway. So, I want to knit it, and it's no longer available. Poop! I don't like the Opal version (vertical stripes). Well. Story of my life I guess. :P

Felling pretty good today. Got a little knitting on my Monkey sock done. Still way way way behind. Must remember to notify my swap pal. And bribe her for forgiveness. :)

Sorry I've been MIA lately. So sick. All I do is sleep and try not to throw up. Fun times. :)

Anyway, I got BOTH my sock packages in the mail, and I love my socks. Thank you Momma Monkey and Aitara. You two are too kind.

So, off to take a bath and the sleep.

Not much to report here. There has been no knitting as of late. I didn't quite finish Maya's sweater, which is fine. She'll get it on my birthday then. :) I've been feeling a little under the weather, so I get home and crash. I don't think I've knit anything in a week. Ack!

Plus, lots of family drama. Again. Argh! I'm just going to pack up my hubby and the dogs and move off into the woods somewhere. That'll solve things...right?

Seriously. All the pretty photos makes me want to cast on new and exciting projects. But I can't!! I must finish my niece's sweater (Friday is her b-day) I've joined that monkey swap so I have to knit those, but I don't think that will sooth my casting on urge. I want to knit mittens. Lots and lots of mittens. Tons even. But I mustn't!! So sad.

My little dog was FREEZING on Friday, so I made him some new jammies. They alpine fleece and have sushi all over them. So cute! Must get a photo to post.

That is all. Off to knit. Or, do laundry. One of the two.

Thank you all for donating to the puppy walk. I promised a drawing today and well.... I liead. I shall do it tomorrow. Because I am lazy, and sore, and I need to go to bed now.

New month. New projects.

I cast on 2 new projects today. The first one is that sweater for my brother, that has taken me a freaking year to find a decent pattern for. Attempt #3 is going to be "Cobblestone" from the laterst interweave knits.

And the second is a hat for my niece. But when she makes a request for knitting, how can you say no? :)

Yes. Some of the smaller indy dyers are also a must try. I've never tried that yarn that all of Cookies patters are made from.

I started Rhiannon, but frogged it as it was too big. I've also made Hedra. I own Millicent, and someday will knit that.

I just finished the toe on the second swap sock. All I have ti di us block, make sure I've picked out the dog hair, and mail them off! :)

I heard about it, and thought it would be a lot of work. And then, heard about it some more... and finally, I heard about it again! So, being the lemming I am, I joined. On June 23. Now, currently there are 346 people ahead of me.

I'm starting the toe on my second swap sock! woot woot!

Last up, finished last night. It's knitpicks yarn, handdyed by me. Just a generic sock pattern.
