But I'd like to think of it as getting to things that have been put off for way too long, now that I've got the time. (and before the baby comes.)
I've got my craft room cleaned. Yay! Also, I turned the hallway linen closet from the "closet of shame" back to the "hallway linen closet."
See, I'm forgetful. And I have a dog that loves yarn. Sometimes I forget to put away the knitting I'm working on before I go to bed. And then, he finds it the next day, and unravels it everywhere. I cry, and pick it up and put it in the closet until I can deal with it. I've got many a project stalled for that very reason. Want a list?? My Rhiannon socks. Morale builders. The pink and yellow socks. Oh, and as of lately, my Appletini socks and my Husband's jitterbug socks. I've also got my swatch from Enny's Vest to deal with. Someday. Not today.
Anyway. I took the yarn, and untangled it, balled it up with my winder, and I'm good to go. Well, all except the vest and the pink and yellow socks. The socks are upstairs, and was too lazy to bring them downstairs to work on.
Anyway, I put yarn away, and put projects together. And I started a tub that I'm calling "the UFO box of SHAME!" for projects that have been sitting way way too long. I cleaned. I frogged. I organized. I feel good. I also searched Ravelry and found some patterns that will work with the yarn I have. I loves ravelry.
Now, I hurt. But I blame that on the yard work I did yesterday, not so much on the yarn. Yarn can't ever be at fault.
